Girls Romper (Easy Beginners)

Pretty and practical the romper is an easy to make playsuit with the practicality of a bodysuit, while dressing your little Miss in the girly style you love. This pattern is comfortable and versatile. Your little girl will stay cool and comfortable in the Darwin heat.
This pattern goes up to size 3

What you need:
2-3 KAM snaps for the snap panel
1/4" elastic for leg hem about 1/2 a metre. However, it may be cheaper to buy pre-packaged.
1/2" single fold bias tape
Size 0000 - 00 1/2 metre fabric
size 0 - 4 1 metre of fabric
Lace or pretty bias or flowers etc to add your own flavour to the outfit...choice is endless and individual.

Boys Romper (Easy but does need intermediate sewing skills) 

For the active bub in your life, this pattern has little Master covered no matter what mischief he gets up to. For the intermediate sewer this pattern may be recreated with a variety of options. Use different fabric combinations for the yoke, sleeves or collar to add your own pizzaz to the outfit. Yes you can even create a girlie version using lace or florals. Use heavier material like denim to create a jacket! So many options.
This pattern goes up to size 1.

What you need:
5 KAM snaps
If adding a snap panel for easy nappy change - 2-3 more snaps

Boys and Girls Dungarees (Easy - Beginner) 

Fresh and versatile, these overalls feature options that make them suitable for both girls and boys. A classic choice for playtime these overalls will last the distance and will be a favourite in your child's wardrobe. can be made with snaps for smaller babies and without for the bigger toilet trained (yay!) ones in your life. This pattern goes up to size 4! Play around with the fabric and pretty it up any way you like....choices are endless.

What you need:
Medium weight interfacing
2 buttons or KAM snaps
If adding a snap panel for easy nappy change - 2-3 more snaps
1/4" elastic for leg hem (not necessary if you choose to have the pants loose)
1/2" single fold bias tape
Size 0000 - 00 1/2 metre fabric
size 0 - 4 1 metre of fabric

(makes the short version)


What you will learn (all patterns)


Sewing french seams
adding ruffle sleeves
attaching bias
Using a KAM plastic snap tool (I recommend buying one off E-bay $30 as, once you have made one of these you will be hooked!) Snaps can be also purchased from GreenBeans but are around $50 with delivery if you don't like to wait.
Collars, sleeves and yokes (eggs anyone?)
