Class Schedule


  • Held over three weeks.
  • Each week you'll learn new skills in your 3 hour weekly workshop.
  • Total of 6 hours tuition, at a total cost of $120 (not including course supplies).
  • Daytime classes run between 9:00am - 11:00pm
What You Will Learn

  • how to insert a collar and cuff sleeve to a shirt
  • button hole application 
  • cutting a pattern and pattern interpretation (all those pesky marking explained) 
  • pleats and darts
  • plackets 


Classic Collared Shirt 

Description

Little Sir or little Miss will be more than happy to wear this casual or dressy unisex shirt. Being easy fit it has plenty of room for movement and caters to sizes 2-9 years. 

The design boasts options of long or short sleeves, pockets or create a military look with shoulder straps that will have them saluting urban style with a host of fashion finesse. 


Picture the girlie version with your favourite florals, lace overlay or classic chambray. 


Material Requirements


  • 1m of fabric
  • 7 buttons
  • light-medium weight interfacing like Pellon SF101
  • Additional small buttons for cuffs and 1 pocket (you can use the same buttons for everything or purchase smaller additional buttons)

Girl Blouse (intermediate) 


(just has a different collar- concept and parts of pattern all same to the shirt) 


Description


Well hello there spring! This oh so chic pin-tuck blouse is a spring sensation. Long vertical pleats and a button up front provide a tailored finish along with high to low hemline. A perfect item for any season really. This pattern caters to sizes 0-14 years. 

Material Requirements 


  • 1/2 - 1m of fabric
  • Small 1/2'' buttons - 5
  • 12mm 1/2'' elastic for the sleeves
  • light-medium weight interfacing like Pellon SF101
